To be recommended ! The hospitality of Ted and Annemarie, the beautiful rooms and the fantastic breakfast. This is a stay that we will never forget. A pity that we could only stay for 1 night.”

“We enjoyed our stay at Ted's Place very much”

We stayed at Ted's Place only for 1 night in march 2011 and wished we could have stayed longer. The room we stayed in, was the "loft-room", over the garages. “Excellent stay - a home away from home”

We stayed at Ted's Place for a whole week since I had to attend a course in Pretoria, and there is not a single thing to complain about. Ted and Annemarie, who are running this place, were always very helpful and friendly and assisted us, wherever they could. The rooms were very clean, the whole place is well run and. the service is great, the only thing I regret is not to have had enough time to go on a tour with Ted who is very knowledgable and is working as a guide as well, so I hope to find the time during our next stay.

We stayed at Ted's place three different times. We staged from Pretoria for other activities. They let us store extra luggage there during our short trips. We signed up for a day tour with Ted. It..was fantastic! Ted shared so much information with us about the area and the history. Ted and his wife were very helpful on where to eat and how long it would take us to drive to various tourist attractions.
All three rooms were different. We didn't care for room number 1 - as the bath room is not entirely enclosed. The other rooms were fantastic. The rooms were all very clean and the beds comfortable. We would stay again if we are in the area.

“Arriving at Ted's place after heavy traffic and a very busy week was a wonderful experience. The establishment looks inviting and fits into the beautiful scenery, trees, well-kept garden. After a warm welcome from Ted and Annemarie I could settle in the spacious room which provided for all my needs. The old-fashioned bath was a winner! I appreciated the semi-antique furniture and the wooden finishing. Although the B&B is bit out of the city the roads into the city and other suburbs are good. I didn't mind the few extra kilometers as the natural environment (all the birds!) and quiet surroundings made up for it! The hosts gave me just the right amount of attention and I enjoyed the chatting at the breakfast table. I can recommend Ted's Place for people who appreciate nature and want a quite place to recoup between activities. Service is excellent. I'll definitely be back!”

Das erste Quartier im Ted's Place war, wie alle anderen auch, super!

Nach einem ruhigen Nachtflug und der Übernahme des nagelneuen Mietwagens konnte die Fahrt zum ersten B&B in Pretoria losgehen. Ted und Annemarie begrüßten uns sehr freundlich mit Kaffee und einem kleinen Plausch, bevor Ted uns die Sehenswürdigkeiten Pretorias in einer ausführlichen Führung zeigte.

Eine wunderschöne Reiseroute mit hervorragenden Unterkünften die mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet waren. Besonders hervorzuheben Ted Place! Überalle wurden wir freundlich empfangen und hatten keinerlei Probleme mit den Buchungen. Alles hat reibungslos geklappt!
Uns hat die Vielfältigkeit und Schönheit der Landschaft beeindruckt. Ebenso die Tierwelt von Südafrika, jedoch sind 2 1/2 Wochen viel zu kurz. Gerne wären wir in den Wildparks länger geblieben.
Ein herzliches Danke an das Umfulana – Team für eine hervorragende Reise und Top-Organisation! Dies kann man jederzeit weiterempfehlen.

thanks very much for your kind attention to our needs during our stay (21st,22nd August), especially getting up early to make breakfast and prepare a flask for our journey through Joburg and down the N1 to Hanover. Although traffic was still dense, we were not held up in a jam and managed to make good time, so thank you for that personal touch.

we've arrived on Tuesday 15th March back in Germany und like zu say THANKYOU for your kindly welcome, the professional guiding and the wonderful breakfast. Our journey was beautiful. wij zijn terug in België en alles is bijna vlekkeloos verlopen. Het is reeds een tijdje geleden toen we bij jullie in Pretoria hebben verbleven (10sept 2008), maar dit was de start van een prachtige reis doorheen Zuid-Afrika en zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.
Mogen wij u nogmaals hartelijk bedanken voor de goede ontvangst in jullie woning en de nuttige informatie die we ontvingen in verband met ons bezoek aan Pretoria. Uw Duitse gasten die gingen trouwen in Saby Sands hebben we helaas niet meer ontmoet.
Wij zeggen niet vaarwel maar hopelijk tot ziens!
